We got into ownership to make a difference—to improve the quality of life for hairstylists and enhance the quality of skilled services and care that guests need to feel confident as they step into their world and tell their stories every day!

We are parents of five, and when we aren’t at the salon, we’re at the ice rink for our hockey players and figure skater or advocating for our youngest son with special needs. This has taught us patience and perseverance. We love traveling and experiencing life, and we value kindness, inclusion, and time with loved ones.

Dawn started doing extensions in 2002, and with Daniel as her biggest supporter and innovator, he even started making extensions in 2008. This early collaboration began a journey of business partnership focused on bringing extensions to the next level.

Moving ahead as a team, in 2018, Allegory was created to carry through our vision of a better career for stylists and better extensions and hair loss solutions for guests.
